Paris Trip (May 2010)

A group of 45 students in years 8 and 9 will be spending 5 days in Paris, France.   They will be visiting the Disneyland Theme Park,  museums and galleries in the city and Monet's House and Gardens at Giverny.  More details regarding this visit can be found on the extra curricular section of the website.

Dan Roro Theatre Company

This was performed completely in French to years 7 and 8. It was a great opportunity to see languages being used in a fun, interactive and easy to comprehend way.

Standish Community High School Language Village

A number of gifted and talented children will be taken to this well reputable language college to interact in real life situations using the target language.

University of Central Lancashire

Year 9 pupils have visited the university on the European Day of Languages in September 2006 and 2007.  They experienced food from all over the world and had an introduction to speaking in Arabic and Chinese.
