Foreign Languages Key Stage 4 and GCSE

At the beginning of year 10 students can opt to pursue GCSE courses in French and/or Spanish.  Work is topic based and builds on the work in Key Stage 3. In addition to giving thorough preparation for the GCSE examination, it also provides a practical guide for living or staying abroad. A full range of teaching techniques is used and particular attention is paid to improving speaking, reading, writing and listening skills of the students.
