History KS3

At Key Stage 3 there is a varied and exicting number of topics to enhance the knowledge and understanding of History.

We have 4  teachers who have a number of specialist areas concerning History.

Whichever classroom the students enter they can be assured of a positive and creative learning environment.

Through History we are able to make strong links with the overarching specialism of the school.

Our aim is to deliver History in a fresh, exicting and enjoyable way that engages pupils of all abilities.

Through a variety of field trips we always look for new and comtempory methods of bringing people from the past back to life!

Through the schemes of work we aim to expose the students to a wide base of historical knowledge with sufficient depth to enhance and develop a number of key skills that can be used in other areas across the curriculum and subjects.
