Access your childs attendance, progress and behaviour information online
You can now access your child’s report online. Online reporting involves using ICT to enable parents to receive and access information about their children’s work, progress, attendance and behaviour when and where they want, using secure, online access.
Will this replace existing arrangements for meeting with and talking things through with parents? No. The online reporting expectation does not replace face-to-face and direct engagement, nor does it duplicate or replace the existing statutory requirement to report to parents annually, but will provide parents with up-to-date information at appropriate points through the year to maintain their interest and enable a richer dialogue between parents, learners and the school.
What about parents who don’t have online access at home?
Parents without computers at home may have access to online information through community provision such as libraries and learning centres, workplace provision or access to computers provided to pupils.
