Palatine Community Sports College has a fantastic facility for parents and students. The Virtual Learning Environment is an online platform where parents and students can access school resources, pupil’s reports and much more both inside and outside the school walls.

To support you with the VLE, we are offering an ICT Course for all parents to show you how to use the VLE and basic ICT Skills. On the course you will learn how to use the Internet, email and access the VLE. You will also gain an ICT Skills for Life Qualification. Your child will be invited to the last session to discuss Internet Safety and look at the ‘Zip it, Block it, Flag it campaign’.

The course starts on Wednesday 20th January and starts at 4pm and finishes at 6pm. The course is 10 weeks and is completely free. The course is limited to 25 people so please contact David Milroy on 01253 336500 or email him at david.milroy@palatine.blackpool.sch.uk to register.

To access the VLE go to http://www.palatinesportscollege.co.uk/ and click on ‘About Palatine’ and select ‘Virtual Learning Environment’. Your child will have been given a username and password for you to access, if you are unable to access the VLE please contact the school directly and we will be happy to assist or alternatively you may wish to email us at admin@palatine.blackpool.sch.uk .
