Argos have kindly donated £500 worth of Fitness equipment to Palatine, which includes a Cross Trainer, Weight Bench, Push up Stands and Gym Ball.

The idea is to utilise the equipment that Argos kindly donated in PE lessons in order to develop the knowledge and understanding that pupils have around the "Principles of Training". This links into the BTEC Sport and GCSE PE course that pupils follow at Palatine.

We are also currently trying to get an area in the school developed into a small fitness gym. This would include the equipment Argos kindly donated and some free weights/ benches/ rowing machine that we currently have. The room would then be available to be used by our breakfast club pupils and some students/staff after school.

We are delighted with the Equipment that Argos have donated to Palatine. The Equipment will be used across the Schools Curriculum and also Extended Services Programme to improve health and Fitness. We know lots of our students enjoy keeping fit and with the new equipment we can encourage more students to get involved also.
