Respect for everyone, achievement for All

THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT RIGHTS AT PALATINE:

  • WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE AND SECURE.
  • WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO LEARN AND TO MAKE THE MOST OF OUR LIVES.
  • WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES WE AGREED WE ALL HAVE SO THAT EVERYONE CAN HAVE KEEP THEIR RIGHTS ARE:

TO GUARANTEE THE RIGHT WE ALL HAVE TO FEEL SAFE AND SECURE WE:

  • NEVER EVER use violence or threaten anyone.
  • ALWAYS tell someone when we feel unhappy.
  • ALWAYS move sensibly around the building.

TO GUARANTEE THE RIGHT WE ALL HAVE TO LEARN AND TO MAKE THE MOST OF OUR LIVES WE:

  • NEVER EVER talk whilst the teacher or other students are talking to the class.
  • ALWAYS get to lessons on time and with the right equipment.
  • ALWAYS allow others to get on with their learning. Put your hand up if you want to ask a question.

TO GUARANTEE THE RIGHT WE ALL HAVE RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT WE:

  • NEVER EVER say hurtful words to or about any other members of the Palatine family.
  • ALWAYS welcome visitors and guests to our community.
  • ALWAYS wear our Palatine uniform with pride.
  • NEVER EVER drop litter, write or draw graffiti or deliberately damage our school buildings or furniture.
