Anti-Bullying Council
We believe that all students have the right to be educated in an environment where there is mutual respect and co-operation. Bullying is contrary to this approach and we do everything possible to discourage it. Bullying is when someone deliberately goes out of their way to threaten, frighten, abuse or hurt someone else. ABC meet regularly to discuss strategies to promote making Palatine a Bully Free Zone.
If you are being bullied let us know by putting a message in the Anti-Bully Box on the Student Reception Desk:
OR … talk to a Peer Mentor (look for the Badge)
OR … come to Bully Free Zone drop-in (Base A on Monday dinner time)
OR … tell ANY adult in school
OR … tell someone at home to contact us about it
OR … send us a confidential message on the SHARP system.
OR … you may wish to contact Bully Free Zone direct on 01253 295555
OR … you can always talk to ChildLine on 0800 1111.
ABC say Don’t Suffer in Silence … tell someone.
