Blackpool Children's University

At Palatine Community Sports College we believe that all learning taking place should be recognised. To support this we are working with The Blackpool Children's University Scheme. This scheme will provide an opportunity to value the learning that takes place in and out of schools, beyond the timetabled school day. It supports the Extended Schools Agenda and it shows that we value learning at all times not just when teachers are delivering the National Curriculum.

Numbers of activities the children have completed:

                      Chess Club
                      Dance
                      Drama
                  Netball
                      Learning a new language
Over 40 pupils were awarded and this will continue next year. Miss Schofield would like to thank pupils, parents and staff involved in delivering the activities.
