Peer Mentors
Palatine Peer Mentors are accredited by the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation and support students who are being bullied and just need someone of their own age to talk to confidentially. Mentors are trained to deal with any problem or situation they could face including additional training by Bully Free Zone.
Whole school drop in session - Monday lunch time - School Hall
During the first half term of each new school year the Peer Mentors run a Year 7 Only Club in the Year 7 Learning Base where mentors and new students can get to know each other by playing organised group games. It gives the new Year 7s chance to make new friends, get to know more about Palatine and how the Peer Mentors can help and support them.
