The Palatine campus is growing closer to fulfilling it's vision of becoming the hub of the local community. The campus already hosts the Palatine Leisure Centre, Palatine Library, a children's centre and of course Palatine Community Sports College.

With support from the Building Schools for the Future programme, a brand new state of the art school will be built within the next few years. However, the exciting prospects for the extended campus were further enhanced when Myplace supported a bid for the development of a new £5 million youth centre which will be completed by 2011.

In September 2009, at the start of the term, we had a vist from Sir Steve Redgrave, as ambassador for Myplace, in which he gave a master class in rowing to our students. The 5 time Olympic gold medalist was a huge hit with the students and left many of them in awe. He was joined by many distinguished guests and also fellow ambassadors Mandy Smith and Bongo Eddie.
